Real Betis defender Marc Bartra admits he’d keep the door open to returning to Barcelona.
Bartra was part of the Betis team which shocked Real Madrid on Sunday.
“I am completely focused on Betis but I have never closed the door on Barcelona,” he said. However, he added that he has a “three-year contract with a high release clause,” which provides him with “a lot of stability” where he is.
The centre-back still follows Barça’s games, even more so since Quique Setien, his one-time coach at Betis, took over from Ernesto Valverde in January.
“There are games when things come off for them, other times not so much,” Bartra added. “But, at the moment they’re OK. They are top of the table. The league’s tight and the small details will decide the title.”
