The Ivory Coast international has expressed his displeasure with the way the 55-year-old is treating him at Olympiastadion
Salomon Kalou has accused Hertha manager Jurgen Klinsmann of showing lack of respect towards him.
The forward has been with the Old Lady since 2014 after leaving Lille and last season he played 30 Bundesliga games as they finished 11th on the league table.
The 34-year-old winger has, however, been enduring a difficult time with the Olympiastadion outfit this season, having only featured seven times.
The former Chelsea winger has expressed his displeasure with the way Klinsmann has been treating him at the club lately.
“It’s not like I’ve only been here for five days or months. I’ve spent almost six years here and have always scored my goals,” Kalou said, according to the Berliner Kurier and the Berliner Zeitung.
“I don’t need special treatment because of that. But it’s about respect, and there’s currently a massive lack of it.
“I’m fit and ready to play. If the team need me, I’ll do my job. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. Not even at the great Chelsea.”
Kalou has recently been linked with a Premier League return, with West Ham United believed to be interested in signing him.
Notwithstanding his fall-out with Klinsmann, the forward admitted he will always have a good memory of the Old Lady.
“I will always remember Hertha as a wonderful place. I have a good relationship with [sporting director] Michael Preetz,” he added.
Since joining Hertha, the Ivory Coast international has scored 47 goals in 148 Bundesliga games.
