Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici admits they’re in swap talks with Barcelona.
Juve are chasing a deal for Barca B striker Alejandro Marques and are willing to send Brazilian midfielder Matheus Pereira in the opposite direction.
Paratici said, “We are talking with Barcelona of two boys.
“We have had some years with us of Matheus Pereira, a good player, coachable, but who needs a certain type of game to express his best level.
“We have seen a player of theirs (from Barcelona), Marques, who has characteristics of typical striker for Italian football and we are proceeding because we think it can be good for both clubs.”
Paratici also addressed rumours of a swap involving Juve midfielder Federico Bernardeschi and Barca’s Ivan Rakitic.
“It was an idea that came out this summer, now I can say that there was no concrete interest,” he added.
