The Bucs assistant coach is finding all the talk about his future difficult to take, but there’s also a funny side to it
Rhulani Mokwena has taken time out at Orlando Pirates, after being the main coach on the hot seat for a number of months.
Since the new head coach Josef Zinnbauer came in, Mokwena has found it difficult to transition back into his old job.
The fans have noticed this with photographs of Mokwena’s body language in the dugout.
Since then Mokwena has taken time out from the club and the speculation has rife over where he has gone, what he is doing and where he will move next?
While the club has made it clear Mokwena will return soon, that hasn’t stopped the speculation from reaching all kinds of conclusions.
Here we can see Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane being asked about Mokwena, and social media followers believe Mokwena may be going back to the Brazilians.
Mokwena was once an assistant coach at Sundowns, yet the speculation linking him to a return there is unfounded. Mokwena has responded by stating, “This is gonna drive me to an asylum.”
