Barcelona striker Luis Suarez was delighted to score in their 3-1 Champions League defeat of Borussia Dortmund.
The result sees Barcelona qualify for the knockout phase.
Suarez said, “Obviously, the first objective was to qualify and be first. We have improved our play and I think we played a great game although at times in the second half we let ourselves go a little.”
Lionel Messi scored on his 700th appearance and Suarez added: “I always said it. The coexistence, the day to day, playing many years together. One unchecks knowing that the pass can arrive at any moment and many times we combine because we are the main strikers of the team.”
Antoine Griezmann also scored and Suarez said, “We are here to support Griezmann and to integrate him as quickly as possible. And he is here to help us.”
