Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde accepts the pressure he is constantly under.
The 55-year-old admits that Barcelona played poorly in their 2-1 win against Leganes at the weekend, but he would rather play poorly and win than play well and either draw or lose.
“The tide will always be there; we are in the club that we are,” Valverde said at Barcelona‘s pre-match press conference.
“We know it’s always going to be like this. If it’s not for one thing, it will be for another.
“We’ve come off a victory in which we suffered a lot.
“Here, we are required to win and give a football lesion in every game.
“The good thing is, there’s always one more game.
“Knowing that the match [on Wednesday] is important, we need everyone’s help.”
