Barcelona youth sporting director Patrick Kluivert has hinted at some disappointment with Xavi Simons.
The teenage midfielder quit Barca earlier this season for PSG, turning down a new contract offer from the Catalans to join the Parisians as a free agent.
Kluivert had been installed as youth director before Simons’ defection and admits he was left frustrated.
He told Sport: “I think he was good here. He was in the best football school. He went to Paris, we must respect his decision.
“We do not have to watch what happened, we have to watch what will happen. The important thing is that it does not happen again.”
