Former Valencia and Barcelona striker David Villa says Luis Aragones had the biggest impact on his career.
The Spaniard announced his retirement on Wednesday and, as such, he has been facing a number of questions about his playing days.
“All of my coaches influenced my career,” Villa said to Radio MARCA and COPE’s El Partidazo.
“But Luis Aragones was the one who gave me the most away from the pitch.”
In a career littered with success, Villa has no doubt about the one moment which brought him the most happiness.
“The happiest moment of my career was the World Cup final, without any doubt,” he added.
