Barcelona striker Luis Suarez suffered a calf injury in defeat to Levante.
Upon returning to Barcelona, he underwent tests, with Barça confirming he suffered a calf injury but not revealing how long he will be out for.
“Tests carried out have shown that Luis Suárez has a right calf injury,” the club said. “Therefore, he is presently not available for selection and his recovery will dictate his return to action.
“Barça’s No.9 started against Levante (3-1), but was replaced by Carles Perez. During his time on the pitch, Suarez had one chance that was saved by Levante goalkeeper Aitor Fernandez. The Uruguayan was unable to add to his impressive record this season of eight goals in twelve games.”
