Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is prepared to listen to an offer from Manchester United.
Juventus and Inter Milan are both hoping to sign Rakitic, but Man Utd could be in pole position having first expressed their interest months ago, says Marca.
The report claims United chiefs have been “stalking” the midfield maestro “for months” – as they were linked time and time again during a hectic summer transfer window.
Last week, it was revealed Rakitic was itching to quit Barca – but wanted a move to AC Milan or Paris Saint-Germain.
The midfielder has stated: “I have two years left on my deal and there’s no better place to play than Barcelona, the best club in the world, but I need to play and not just enjoy walks around the city and the beach.”
