Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists there’s no personal grudge against Antoine Griezmann.
While angry over the manner of Griezmann’s €120m move to Barcelona, Cerezo insists the Frenchman remains a friend.
“Griezmann is a magnificent player,” he said.
“He is a friend of mine and I hope that Barça’s leaders and supporters will treat him the same way we did at Atlético de Madrid and that he is happy.”
For now, Griezmann is struggling to find his best form with his new club.
