Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte has rallied his squad to shake off their Champions League defeat to Barcelona.
Inter are now joint bottom of the group, as Borussia Dortmund earned a 2-0 win away to Slavia Prague.
But Conte insisted: “Our possession was aimed at hurting Barcelona, whereas a lot of the time they kept the ball just for the sake of possession. There were players who had featured in a lot of games and it took a toll on us.
“The lads gave their all, showed character, courage and everything, but we lost. So we must realise where we can improve to not suffer the way we are at this moment, because we cannot come home happy. That is not the mentality of a great team.
“We played well, but have one point in two games, the situation in the Champions League is compromised and if we want to mature, we’ve got to return home angry.
“It was an undeserved defeat, but at the same time we must continue working, be stronger and continue the journey we have just started.”
