Inter Miami owner David Beckham has ‘made contact’ with Barcelona star Lionel Messi over a sensational move to join his new MLS franchise.
Catalunya Radio reports the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star has reached out to Messi and regarding a “huge deal” to spearhead Inter Miami.
Beckham’s new club will enter the MLS in March 2020 whilst details regarding Messi’s Barcelona deal recently emerged which allow him to leave the club for free in June.
But whilst it is claimed the remarkable move is viewed as “interesting” by the Argentinian, his advisors have reportedly quoted huge demands which could rule out the move.
Barcelona‘s directors are said to be aware of the interest as Beckham looks for a big name to be the face of the franchise in their formative years.
