Former Real Madrid and Barcelona star Gheorge Hagi rates Lionl Messi ahead of Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Hagi also believes Messi can play into his late 30’s.
He told Super Deportivo Radio: “I would love to be Ronaldo’s coach, but I confess that I choose Messi because I have a small weakness for him being left-sided. I was a left-sided footballer myself.
“I can’t choose another one, it’s my style.”
Hagi continued: “I retired at the age of 36, playing 60 games a year and I think that this figure is better today. The recovery is better and if you take care of yourself, you are connected, motivated and well trained you can play until 38 calmly.”
