Brazil football chief Juninho can understand Barcelona wanting to buy back Neymar from PSG.
The Brazil captain is said to have agreed terms with Barca about return this summer.
Juninho, who played for Atletico Madrid in Spain, told Efe: “If I owned a team, I would like to have Neymar.
“He is considered one of the best players in the world, I’m going to want to have a player like that on my team.”
Juninho also offered his support to Barca captain Leo Messi after Argentina’s elimination from the Copa America.
“Messi is an extraordinary player with whom we must always be careful,” he added, “despite the age, he still has a spark to continue fighting for a title with Argentina.”
