Former Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven technical chief Hans Kraay Jr has pleaded with Matthijs de Ligt to reconsider a move to PSG.
The Ajax captain is edging closer to moving to Paris ahead of offers from the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United after receiving a proposal worth £20m-a-year from the Parisians.
But Kraay told FOX Sports: “He can earn twenty million a year, a hundred million in five years! But he shouldn’t do it anyway.
“If I were De Ligt, I’d say: I could get six million less at Barcelona. Fourteen million, five times is seventy: you can no longer make that up. Then I’d rather go to Barcelona, play against Valencia, Seville, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid… I prefer that than against Guingamp.
“Or it’d be nice to go to Liverpool, where you can experience top-class sport every week.”
