Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has denied claims he aims to to take a year off from the game.
Guardiola was said to be planning stepping down should they win the Champions League next season.
But he shut down the rumours in an interview with Mundo Deportivo.
He said: “I do not take sabbatical years, the news comes out, is copied and does not occur.
“I have a two-year contract and, if I am not sent away, I will stay.”
Guardiola famously took a year out in 2012 after standing down at Barcelona having won 13 major trophies in four years.
