After months of speculation, Mark Rudan has been confirmed as new A-League side Western United’s inaugural coach.
Rudan departed Wellington Phoenix at the end of the season after an impressive first campaign in the A-League saw him guide the Nix to the finals.
The former Sydney FC club captain decided against extending his stay in Wellington however, stressing a desire to be closer to his family.
Western United wasting no time to snap Rudan up and locking down the 43-year-old as their first coach.
