Transfer news live: Spurs line up €30m midfielder & defender, West Ham could sign £38m striker

Hello and welcome to football.london ‘s live transfer blog for 26 March.

The international break is in full swing, so it’s the perfect time to take a look at all the latest gossip and the moves which could be made this summer.

Arsenal were linked with various midfielders in January, but Barcelona’s Denis Suarez was the only one to complete a move, as offers for PSG’s Christopher Nkunku, Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic and Yannick Carrasco could not be agreed.

The Gunners are also on the lookout for a new technical director after Monchi opted to rejoin Sevilla and Marc Overmars signed a new deal at Ajax.

Elsewhere, Spurs made no signings in the last two transfer windows, but it hasn’t seemed to harm their progress on the pitch, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side reaching the last eight of the Champions League.

In west London, Ruben Loftus-Cheek remains a Chelsea player despite speculation around his future, but will the Blues sign Gonzalo Higuain permanently in the summer? And will they add to the signing of Christian Pulisic if Eden Hazard departs for Real Madrid?

We’ll guide you through the day’s top transfer rumours from around the world.
