Ukrainian national football team faces Luxembourg in Round 2 of UEFA Euro 2020 qualification – Ukraine, Luxembourg to cross swords in UEFA Euro 2020 qualification

The national football team of Ukraine goes to Luxembourg to face the team from this country, as both compete for the right to perform in the UEFA Euro 2020 finals. The game will kick off at Josy Barthel stadium, on March 25, at 21.45 (Kyiv time).

Just recently, in Round 1 of the qualification, Ukraine managed to withstand the attacks of Portugal; the incumbent champion of Europe could not do much about the well-built defense lines, which eventually cut off all opportunities for the team’s top player and the leading strike force Cristiano Ronaldo.

A 0-0 draw with Portugal took a lot of effort from the Yellow-Blues, so it might be hard for them to focus for another game, leave alone that against Luxembourg, which has been showing some decent performance lately. They defeated Lithuania in Round 1, and they are leading the way – at least for now.
