KYLIAN MBAPPE debuted a new celebration after netting in Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-1 win against Marseille and fans couldn’t tell if he was being cocky or angry.
The striker also grabbed the headlines for refusing to give Angel Di Maria the chance to complete his hat-trick after winning a late penalty…that he then went on to miss.
Kylian Mbappe shook his head and shrugged his shoulders at PSG fans after scoring
The French World Cup winner had scored however earlier in the game but also surprised fans with his decision to change up his trademark arms crossed celebration.
The 20-year-old slotted home his 26th league goal of the season but instead of his usual pose, Mbappe looked angrily at the camera as he shrugged his shoulders.
His new celebration came in front of the PSG ultras and supporters have speculated that the striker was delivering a message to the club’s board after his recent fine.
Mbappe, who remains one of Real Madrid’s top summer transfer targets, was fined £150k last week for turning up late for a team meeting in October.

The £168million star, who was punished alongside Adrien Rabiot, were also each made to sign a document to acknowledge their bad behaviour over the incident.
However, some fans believed Mbappe is still fuming at the debacle, with one writing: “Never seen Kylian Mbappe as angry as he was with that goal celebration.”
Twitter user Mohammed Ali disagreed with that post, publishing: “Really good finish from Mbappe admittedly, really arrogant celebration though.”
Others wrote: “Mbappe’s celebration was cocky and I loved it.”
A number of PSG fans boycotted the early stages of the match after the French club’s shock European exit and the striker may have been equally as affected.
Since PSG’s Qatari backers began to heavily invest in the team, the Champions League has been a major goal for a club which has never even reached the semi’s.
The latest setback last month had the Frenchman admitting he was stunned by Manchester United’s dramatic comeback and he’s been experiencing sleepless nights.
