Ligue 1 The latest European collapse has sparked anger
Paris Saint-Germain‘s ultras are far from happy following their most recent Champions League humiliation as they, once again, saw a first leg lead slip with Manchester United overturning the deficit this season.
In response, the ultras have hit out at the players, who they say are not doing enough to defend the club’s crest.
“Those players who are supposed to play with honour and to defend the shirt are in debt to the fans, the club, the employees and all those who fight,” a letter from the ultras posted on social media read.
“We are not fans for the victories, but we won’t allow players without pride to leave our club in the mud.
“PSG deserve more than mercenaries more interested in their salaries than in defending the shirt.
“We’re proud of our team, but not of our players.”
