Barcelona overcame an early deficit to beat Rayo Vallecano 3-1 in La Liga action on Saturday.
The win maintains the defending champions their seven-point lead over second place Atletico Madrid in the race for the title.
Vallecano took unlikely lead in the 24th minute on a counter-attack was finished with by Raul De Tomas. However, the hosts levelled when Gerard Pique headed in Lionel Messi‘s free-kick in the 38th minute.
After Nelson Semedo drew a penalty in the 51st minute, Messi gave the Catalans the lead after converting the opportunity.
Luis Suarez sealed the match for Barcelona on a neat one-two with Ivan Rakitic.
