Neymar insists he is happy at Paris Saint-Germain, but admits any player would be attracted by transfer interest from Real Madrid.

The Brazil star has been linked with a big-money move to the Spanish capital since leaving Barcelona to join PSG in a £200million deal in 2017.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly desperate to sign Neymar, who has three-and-a-half years left on his PSG deal, with reports claiming the French club could cash in on their star man and put all their faith in wonderkid Kylian Mbappe.

Despite the constant rumours linking him with a move away from France, Neymar says he is committed to the Ligue 1 champions.

The 27-year-old told Globo TV: “If I want to play for Madrid? They are one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“It is obvious that Real Madrid are a great team, one of the best in the world, I have great respect for them but, today, I see myself in Paris.”

Neymar, who has been sidelined since January with a foot injury, called Real Madrid and Brazil legend Ronaldo his “idol” in a social media post on Sunday.

“Good surprise, good to see you idol. Thanks for the visit!!! @Ronaldo,” he wrote.

Ronaldo scored 104 goals and won two La Liga titles with Real between 2002 and 2007.

He also scored 62 times in 98 games for Brazil, with Neymar currently on 60 goals for the national side in 96 matches.
