Minnesota United FC enter the 2019 season with raised expectations and notable firsts. Most importantly, the team will open their own brand-new privately financed stadium in St. Paul, Allianz Field, in April.
With offseason moves that include adding several upgrades to the starting XI, the Loons are looking for another strong campaign from Darwin Quintero, and see the pieces around him stepping up their games as well.
Having yet to reach the postseason in MLS, Minnesota United are also looking to reach the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time in 2019, and hope the crowd signing their signature post-win song, “Wonderwall,” becomes a frequent occurrence at Allianz Field this season.
