PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are set to open talks with Dani Alves over a new one-year deal amid interest from Manchester City, according to reports.
The Brazilian right-back’s deal runs out at the end of the season but the French champions are eager to tie the 35-year-old down for at least another year.

Dani Alves is set to be offered a new deal at Paris Saint-Germain
Earlier this month, it was reported that Dani Alves was “dreaming” of a reunion with his Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola at the Etihad.
That is despite the fact the former Juventus star admitted in November he actually rejected an approach from City ahead of his move to France in 2017.
And now ESPN are reporting that PSG are keen for Alves to stay at the Parc des Princes for at least another year and the club will speak with the Brazilian’s representatives this week.
Reportedly a factor in the decision to offer the veteran fresh terms is Alves’ close ties with teammate Neymar, who has also been linked with a transfer this summer.

Alves was thought to have held talks with Flamengo at the beginning of the year but his level of form suggests it is too early for him to return to his homeland.
He has won 38 trophies in his illustrious 17-year career, but has made it known before he does not want to hang up his boots without tasting Premier League football.
He told the Telegraph last year: “The idea that I might finish my career without going to the Premier League, it is not possible.”
