A gorgeous Pity Martinez free-kick strike helped Atlanta take an early advantage, and Julian Gressel finished from an angle along the right flank to double the Five Stripes’ lead.

But Black & Gold trialist Adrien Perez rounded Brad Guzan to cut the deficit in half after the break before Carlos Vela tucked a low drive inside the far post to level matters:
LAFC are counting down to their MLS season opener vs. Sporting KC on March 3, while ATLUTD are further along in their preseason prep as they open 2019 with a two-legged Concacaf Champions League clash with Costa Rican club Herediano later this month.
