Olympique Lyon suffered defeat away to OGC Nice, while Lille moved to within 10 points of Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain following Sunday’s action.
Nice 1-0 Olympique Lyon
Olympique Lyon’s three-game winnnig run in Ligue 1 came to an end after suffering a 1-0 loss away to Nice on Sunday night.
Remi Walter scored the game’s only goal from the penalty spot in the 69th minute.
As a result, Lyon remain in third place, six points behind second-place Lille.
Montpellier 2-2 Monaco
AS Monaco were denied a second straight Ligue 1 victory after beind held to a 2-2 draw by Montpellie.
The visitors were on the brink of secuing a win Gelson Martins and Radamel Falcao cancelled out Gaten Laborde’s strike.
However, Andy Delort sealed a point for the hosts after netting from the penalty spot.
Nantes 2-4 Nimes
Nimes rallied back from two goals down to defeat Nantes 4-2 on Sunday afternoon.
Kalif Coulibaly and Abdul Majeed Waris put the hosts two goals up, before Nimes hit back through Baptiste Guillaume, Antonin Bobichon, Jordan Ferri and Sada Thioub.
Toulouse 1-1 Reims
Max Grade cancelled out Rémi Oudin’s strike as Toulouse and Reims shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Guingamp 0-2 Lille
Lille moved back to within 10 points of leaders Paris Saint-Germain with a 2-0 victory over Guingamp.
Rafael Leao and Loic Remy got the goals for the visitors in the second half.
Rennes 3-0 Saint-Etienne
Rennes kept their top-six hopes alive with a 3-0 triump against Saint-Etienne.
M’Baye Niang, Hatem Ben Arfa and Adrien Hunou were on target for Rennes.
