PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN flop Hatem Ben Arfa is suing the French club for £7million in compensation for not playing him and trying to “make him crack”.
The 31-year-old claims that PSG’s treatment of him amounted to “discrimination and workplace harassment” after he was banished to the reserves in 2017.

The former Newcastle star left Paris for Rennes last summer after a difficult spell at the club where Ben Arfa endured a 15-month exile at the Parc des Princes.
The player’s lawyer, Jean-Jacques Bertrand, revealed that Ben Arfa’s contract at PSG was heavily weighted with performances bonuses, so his earnings were affected by a lack of game time.
The lawsuit, which was filed on Friday with a Paris labour tribunal, also argues that the French champions’ treatment of Ben Arfa amounted to workplace harassment.
Bertrand alleges that the club’s aim was “to make him crack,” after forcing him to train with the reserves and that PSG “did everything to push him to leave”.

In response, PSG expressed confidence that it will be vindicated and said it regrets the “stubbornness” of Ben Arfa and his attorney Bertrand.
Ben Arfa began his career in Lyon before moving to Marseille and Newcastle in 2011 where he excelled and helped steered the Toon to fifth in his first season.
But he soon fell out of favour and spent a season on loan at Hull in 2014 before rekindling his career at Nice, which earned him a move to PSG two years later.
Ben Arfa played his final game for the Parisian club in April 2017 and did not appear in a competitive match again until his Rennes debut last September.
