Real Madrid have won their last three matches in La Liga, but Alejandro Moreno says the wins are doing nothing to mask the club’s issues.
Fenerbahce defender and Mexico international Diego Reyes has been loaned to La Liga side Leganes until the end of the season, the Turkish club announced on Monday.
Leganes, who are struggling in Spain’s first division and are three points above the relegation zone, will pay Reyes’ salary for the duration of the campaign.
Mexico defender Diego Reyes will now have his third stint in La Liga.
It will be the fifth European club in six years — and his third in Spain — for the 26-year-old Reyes, a product of Liga MX power Club America. He joined Porto in 2013 and had stints with Real Sociedad and Espanyol.
He signed with Fenerbahce in 2018 on a two-year deal, but has made 14 appearances across all competitions.
“We wish our player Diego Reyes success,” the club said in a statement.
He is a veteran for El Tri, having played in the 2014 World Cup. He was named to Mexico’s squad for the 2018 World Cup but was ruled out due to injury.
