The New England Revolution have been linked to several moves and made one significant international signing so far this offseason, and promise there’s more where that came from.
Revolution president Brian Bilello offered an update of sorts on Twitter on Friday on the club’s targets with their 2019 MLS regular season debut on March 2 at FC Dallas in mind. He said there will be two more “max contract” players added before the start of the season, with the team working on possibilities in that department.
We will still add 2 more max contract+ players prior to the start of the season. I think one will be fairly soon. A number of possibilities that we’re working on.

The Revs signed Colombian forward Juan Fernando Caicedo on loan in December from Independiente Medellin. Caicedo will be either a Designated Player or Targeted Allocation Money player, according to the team when announcing the signing.
New England have been linked to Spanish playmaker Carles Gil, as well as Spanish attacker Bojan Krcic, in recent days. Perhaps coincidentally, the team headed to Marbella, Spain for preseason preparations on Friday for a two-week stint.
