Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says his side are not the Harlem Globetrotters, and must get results as well as show good performances.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is set to stay at the club until the end of the season, sources have told ESPN FC.

The Premier League leaders are unwilling to entertain offers for Mignolet, who is the backup to £65 million Alisson, this month.

Mignolet has made just two appearances for Liverpool this season — both in the domestic cup competitions, which Jurgen Klopp’s side have been eliminated from.

Goalkeeper Kamil Grabara joined Danish side AGF Aarhus on loan earlier in January, leaving Caoimhin Kelleher as the club’s third choice.

Mignolet’s agent told ESPN FC in November that it would be “very difficult” for Liverpool to grant the goalkeeper’s wish of a move in January.

Mignolet wanted to leave Liverpool last summer in search of regular football, but Liverpool would not sanction his departure once Loris Karius joined Besiktas on a two-year loan.

Given the 30-year-old is desperate for more playing time, it makes it highly likely that he will seek a new challenge in the summer.

The Belgium international moved to Anfield from Sunderland in 2013 and has a contract that runs until 2021.
