Arsenal have told Ligue 1 forward Ismaila Sarr they want to sign him in the summer, according to reports in France.
The Stade Rennais star excellent season so far has again attracted the gaze of Arsenal, who have previously been linked with a transfer move for the 20-year-old.
Sarr has scored five goals and provided five assists in 18 Ligue 1 appearances this season, and has played on both sides of attack as well as a leading the forward line.

Unai Emery is desperate for reinforcements this month, but Le 10 Sport claim there will be no offer from Arsenal for Sarr in January.
Arsenal have no transfer funds to spend in the current window and are saving their major business for the summer.
The Gunners have even told Sarr they are targeting a summer move, and will track him throughout the remainder of the current season.

Sarr is under contract at Rennes until 2021, and is attracting interest from Italian sides Roma and Inter.
While a bid for Sarr will be shelved until the summer, Arsenal are working on several loan deals this month.
The primary target seems to be Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, who is keen on a move to Arsenal.
Emery and Suarez worked together at Sevilla and the Spaniard is desperate for more game time after spending much of Barcelona’s season on the bench or struggling to make the matchday squad.
