Ligue 1 giants in talks with Toby Alderweireld

There are fears that English Premier League side Arsenal might dump the winter transfer market and not do any deal again after latest reports of the availability of more players from injury.

On Wednesday, the club announced the return of six players from injury with five of them being defenders which means they may no longer see any need for new additions in the defence.

It is not news that the Gunners were not interested in this winter window earlier on but were forced as a result of the long injury list that made them short in the defence.

This, therefore, means that there were majorly out for defenders in the winter window and maybe a winger with the layoff of England international Danny Welbeck.

However, Hector Bellerin, Nacho Monreal, Laurent Koscielny, Dinos Mavropanos, Shkodran Mustafi and Mesut Ozil have all been announced by the North London side to be available and involved in full training with the first team.

This, therefore, gives the hint that the Gunners will no longer be desperate in the market as they will now have more options to scale through the second half of the season.

Meanwhile, the club have already hinted that there will be no enough funds for transfer dealings in this winter transfer window until in the coming summer window
