The Hornets value Doucoure at around £50million, and insist they want to hold on to the powerful midfielder.
Arsenal have shown a strong interest already, as they search for quality midfielders with Aaron Ramsey one of the current crop leaving at the end of the season.
But Watford’s player of last season, who was born in the Paris suburbs, said he would love to be part of PSG’s star-studded squad.
Doucoure told RMC Sport: “It’s pleasing to hear a club such as PSG is interested in me.

“They look at lots of players and have plenty of targets. I am not the only one, and few players will be chosen by them.
“I am just happy that clubs are showing interest in me.
“There are not many other players around like me. If PSG are asking about me, and if they want to make me one of their players, I would be very happy.
“PSG have always been my favourite club. I grew up at Yvelines, every time I go back to Paris it is a pleasure to see my family, and PSG have a big place in my heart.
“They are all big names at PSG. I don’t know if there would be a place for me in their squad.
“They’d have to sign me first. I don’t think about it.”
