Absa Premiership club Orlando Pirates has announced that its young striker Lyle Foster has been signed by Ligue 1 club AC Monaco.
The media had been reporting the talks and the player’s trial trips since last year, before Pirates officially confirmed the deal on Wednesday.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club can officially confirm the transfer of Lyle Foster to French giants AS Monaco. The 18-year old marksman becomes the youngest Pirates player to move to a Top Five European league,” said the club on its website.
