The UCL group stage concludes on Wednesday – but who will be crowned the Santander Player of the Week?
As if Tuesday’s action wasn’t dramatic enough, Europe’s greatest club competition returns on Wednesday with another flurry of heavyweight clashes.
But who will lead his club to glory with the most impressive performance of this matchday?
Who will rise up above the rest and be crowned the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week, sponsored by Banco Santander?
Bayern travel to Ajax hoping to secure top spot in Group E and will look for inspiration from Robert Lewandowski, who this term became the third-fastest player to 50 UCL goals.
Manchester City, too, will hope to win their group tonight and in Aymeric Laporte they have the highest-scoring defender in the competition this season.
Toni Kroos will provide the creative spark for Real Madrid against CSKA Moscow, having already played a season-high 23 key passes in this competition.
And Wojciech Szczesny will be out for his fifth UCL clean sheet this term when his already-qualified Juventus travel to Young Boys.
