CHELSEA could see the transfer of Nabil Fekir slip away as reports claim Real Madrid have been offered the World Cup winner.
Stamford Bridge bosses were apparently monitoring Lyon’s captain ready to make a move in for the midfielder.
Fekir was a transfer target for Chelsea
However, Marca claim Real could be given the opportunity to snatch Fekir’s signature next month.
Real are looking to bolster their attacking presence with Ballon d’Or winner Luka Modric in need of a central midfield partner.
Ferkir, who has netted six times in 16 games this season, has just 18 months left on his contract and Lyon bosses are keen to cash in on their skipper.
The 25-year-old saw a proposed £53m deal in the summer to Liverpool collapse at the last hurdle as a knee injury caused a problem in the medical.
The Frenchman can be played as a winger or central midfielder
Ferkir scored against Man City earlier in the season
Chelsea have since been interested in the playmaker, who can be deployed as an attacking midfielder, wiedeman or centre forward.
Fekir impressed Chelsea chiefs when the Frenchman led Lyon to a 2-1 win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in September with the midfielder bagging a goal and an assist that night.
The Blues have also been linked with a massive £70m move for Real playmaker Isco, with the Spaniard falling out of favour with manager Santiago Solari.
Chelsea have leapfrogged ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City in the race for Isco, as they could offer the 26-year-old around £250,000 a week.
Chelsea are also interested in Real midfielder Isco
A move to England for Isco could see Fekir join Real
If Chelsea land Isco, it could prompt Santiago Bernabeu chiefs to make a move for Fekir.
