Barcelona star Coutinho left Liverpool back in January, signing for the Catalan giants in a massive £142million transfer that made him the second most-expensive player of all time.
The Brazil international’s Nou Camp career, however, is yet to ignite. Tuesday’s Champions League showing against Tottenham was the latest in a long line of flat displays.
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is reportedly struggling to find a place for the Samba star.
And Coral have Manchester United above Liverpool in the race to sign the 26-year-old amid his current issues.
PSG lead the betting at 2/1.
The Ligue 1 giants wanted Coutinho in January too but, despite Neymar’s desperation to be reunited with his compatriot, missed out.
Serie A duo Napoli and PSG are then at 3/1 and 4/1.
And Coral have made United as short as 6/1 to secure the player’s services.
Liverpool are ranked at 8-1 with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund outsiders at 12/1 and 16/1 respectively.
“Coutinho’s moved to Barcelona looked like his dream transfer but things haven’t quite gone according to plan of late,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
“We make PSG the favourites for his next club, as it could be hard to many other clubs to compete in the market for him.
“It’s hard to picture him returning to Liverpool at this point.
“However a move back to Inter is possible and also we aren’t ruling out United launching a move.”
United are always in the market for the world’s biggest names.
But whether they move for Coutinho, particularly given his Liverpool affiliation, remains to be seen.
The player could feature when Barcelona go up against Levante on Sunday (7.45pm).
