In the wake of continued security concerns, the Ligue 1 Conforama Week 18 matches that were set to be played in Nantes, Nice and Caen have been postponed until a date to be determined.
At the request of local authorities in Nantes, Nice and Caen, the LFP has decided to postpone the matches listed below – in light of current events’ occupying police who would otherwise ensure security at the matches – until a date to be determined in due course.
In conjunction with the LFP, the Alpes-Maritime authorities are looking into the possibility of staging the match at 17:00 CET on Sunday, 16 December in order to avoid postponement until an even later date. OGC Nice and AS Saint-Etienne both had matches postponed in Week 17 and the stakeholders are doing their best to find a solution to avoid overloading the clubs’ busy schedules in January or later in the second half of the season.
Postponed matches for Ligue 1 Conforama’s Week 18:
FC Nantes – Montpellier Hérault SC
OGC Nice – AS Saint-Etienne
SM Caen – Toulouse FC
