Morris, 24, has been hampered by injuries the last two seasons, missing all of the 2018 MLS season with an ACL tear, but is expected to be ready for the start of 2019. In 2016, his most healthy season to date, Morris scored 12 goals and added 4 assists in 34 appearances. He started and played into extra time of the 2016 MLS Cup, which saw the Sounders outlast Toronto FC in penalty kicks to win the title. In his MLS career, Morris has 15 goals and 5 assists in 57 appearances.
