Turkey’s Fenerbahçe drew with Croatia’s Dinamo Zagreb 0-0 in the UEFA Europa League on Nov. 29 and both teams qualified for the last 32 round.
In the Group D match at Fenerbahçe’s Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul, the match ended goalless.
Following the result, Dinamo Zagreb finished the group at the top while Fenerbahçe is at the second place. Both teams advanced to last 32 round of UEFA Europa League.
In their first match in Zagreb, Fenerbahçe was defeated by Dinamo Zagreb 4-1.
Belgium’s Anderlecht also drew with Slovakia’s Spartak Trnava 0-0 in the other Group D match and got eliminated from the league.
Beşiktaş beat Sarpsborg 3-2
Beşiktaş beat Norway’s Sarpsborg 3-2 Nov. 29 in a UEFA Europa League 2018-19 group stage match.
Sarpsborg scored early in the Group I match with a goal by Rashad Muhammed in the first minute and Tobias Heintz doubled their lead in the sixth minute.
Following the two goals, the Black Eagles pressured the Norwegian side and had relatively more possession, but Sarpsborg created better chances in the first half of the match.
In the second half, Beşiktaş came back from a 2-0 deficit as Jeremain Lens scored in the 62nd and 90th minute and Vagner Love scored in the 66th minute.
In the first match, Beşiktaş beat Sarpsborg 3-1 in Istanbul.
Beşiktaş finished fourth in Turkey last season while Sarpsborg were third in Norway.
The first two teams each from 12 groups will reach the last-32 round of the Europa League, and the final will be held at Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan on May 29.
Turkey’s Galatasaray, or the Lions, were the only Turkish club to have won the cup in 1999-2000.
Krasnodar beat Akhisar 2-1
Russia’s Krasnodar beat Turkey’s Akhisar 2-1 in UEFA Europa League group match on Nov. 29.
In a Group J match at the Krasnodar Stadium, Akhisar’s Serginho scored at 24th minute and the first half ended 1-0.
Krasnodar’s Yuri Gazinski scored at 49th minute and Ari scored at 57th minute to win the match 2-1.
Krasnodar advanced to last 32 round in the UEFA Europa League.
