AS Monaco-bound and Orlando Pirates teenage striker Lyle Foster has admitted that he is relishing the prospect of working under the France and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
The South African youth international signed a five-year contract with Les Rouges et Blancs and will join the club in January 2019.
“I think anyone or any player will be looking forward to working with him. He was a top striker and now he is a top coach, Foster told TimesLive.
“I can’t wait to learn a lot from him.”
Foster, who had two separate trials spells with Monaco in 2017 and early this year, made another trip last weekend to watch his new club.
“I watched one game between Monaco and Lille and I got Lebo Mothiba’s [South African international] jersey which was really nice.”
The youngster will add to the growing contingent of Bafana Bafana players in Ligue 1 that includes Keagan Dolly, Bongani Zungu, Lebogang Phiri, Keagan Dolly, and Mothiba.
