Europe’s premier club competition continues on Wednesday – but who will be crowned the Santander Player of the Week?
Tuesday night brought yet more drama in world football’s leading club competition.
And there are few signs of the action slowing down on Wednesday when some modern giants of the game lock horns in a number of mouth-watering clashes.
But who will rise up above the rest and be crowned the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week, sponsored by Banco Santander?
All eyes will be on Neymar when PSG host Liverpool and the Reds will need to keep a tight leash on the Brazilian, who has danced his way to an average of 7.3 dribbles per game in the competition this season – 3.3 more than any other player.
Marco Reus, meanwhile, will be out to move clear of Robert Lewandowski as Dortmund’s all-time leading scorer in the competition when his side host Club Brugge.
Over in Portugal, Moussa Marega is on course to become he first Porto player to score in four successive UCL appearances since the legendary Mario Jardel as he aims to help book his side’s place in the knockout stages.
And Luuk De Jong will hope to do some aerial damage to Barcelona after winning a staggering 34 aerial duels in the UCL this season – at least 10 more than anyone else.
Voting for Player of the Week opens on Thursday.
