Liverpool FC have had a mixed run of results in the UEFA Champions League this season…
Liverpool FC, who finished runners-up last season in the UEFA Champions League, haven’t managed to hit the ground running this time around.
Placed in Group C of the Champions League where they are grouped alongside Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli and Red Star Belgrade, they are second on the table with six points from four matches.
After winning their opening two games in the group at home against Paris Saint-Germain and Red Star Belgrade, they have suffered back-to-back defeats away from home.
On matchday five, they travel to the French capital to take on the Ligue1 leaders. The good news for them is that Neymar and Kylian Mbappe picked up injuries while on international duty and it remains to be seen if the two star strikers will make it to the matchday squad next week.
For now, watch highlights from Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League campaign so far.
