Juventus’ Massimiliano Allegri felt it was good to bounce back with a 2-0 win over AC Milan after they endured their first loss since April against Manchester United.
Juventus left-back Alex Sandro said he has a “desire” to play in Premier League — but added that he is happy in Turin for the moment.
The Brazil international has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United in recent seasons but stayed with Juve despite battling Kwadwo Asamoah for a starting spot in Massimiliano Allegri’s defence in the previous campaign.
It has been a different story in 2018-19 with Sandro playing in every match so far following Asamoah’s departure to Inter Milan. And, while has reiterated the fact he is enjoying life in Serie A, Sandro said that he would like play in England’s top flight before the end of his career.
“I think one day, who knows what will happen — I have a desire to play in the Premier League,” he said ahead of Brazil’s friendly with Cameroon in Milton Keynes.
“But right now I’m very happy where I am, at the club I am at, the league I’m playing in. So today, my only thought is to continue where I am because that’s where I feel happy.”
Sandro joined Juventus from Porto in the summer of 2015 and has won three Serie A and Coppa Italia doubles in a row, while he also started the 2017 Champions League final.
