Nicolas Hasler, Yura Movsisyan feature in UEFA Nations League play

Chicago Fire forward Yura Movsisyan and midfielder/defender Nicolas Hasler both suited up for their respective national teams on Saturday as UEFA Nations League play resumed in Europe.

Movsisyan made his first appearance for Armenia in over three years, having last represented the country in October of 2015 in a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier against Albania. Movsisyan started in Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Gibraltar and played 69 minutes before being replaced by Sargis Adamyan. Hasler — recently named the 2018 Lichtensteiner Footballer of the Year — additionally got the starting nod for his Liechtenstein against FYR Macedonia at the Philip II Arena in Skopje, Macedonia. Hasler put in a 90 minute shift for the visitors in a 4-1 defeat. Liechtenstein sits level with Armenia in second place of Group 4 in League D. They’ll next face Gibraltar at Victoria Stadium in Gibraltar on Oct. 16 at 1:35 p.m. CT
