Enzo Robise is expected to have a big future at Premier League side Southampton but French duo Lille and Marseille are reportedly interested.
Enzo Robise might not be a name every Southampton fan is aware of just yet. But that could change very soon.
The 17-year-old is the latest highly-rated youngster tipped to emerge from The Saints’ renowned youth academy, potentially following in the footsteps of Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw, Nathanial Clyne, Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott.
Robise made his debut for Rahdi Jaidi’s U23 side back in March and, although he is yet to make his senior debut, his performances behind the scenes have not gone unnoticed.
According to Goal, Ligue 1 duo Lille and Marseille have both expressed an interest in the France-born teenager after he contributed nine goals and four assists in 17 reserve games last season.
Understandably, however, Southampton have no interest in parting company with Robise, who only signed a three-year professional contract in July.
Goal claims that The Saints have told any interested suitor that Robise is not for sale, meaning it is very unlikely that he will be leaving St Mary’s any time soon.
The challenge now is for Robise to force his way into Mark Hughes’ first-team plans.
