Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic scored an 84th minute equaliser to rescue a 1-1 draw at Hoffenheim on Saturday.
Pulisic, who got the winner at Club Brugge in a 1-0 Champions League group stage victory in midweek, tapped the ball home after good work from Marco Reus to earn his team a point.
Brazilian Joelinton put the hosts ahead on the stroke of halftime and Hoffenheim looked to be cruising after having two other efforts disallowed and also hitting the woodwork.
Things turned worse for the visitors when Diallo was sent off for a last-man foul on Andrej Kramaric but Pulisic timed his run to perfection to tap in Reus’ cutback.
The result leaves Dortmund in third place on eight points.
