Having retired from international football, Gerard Pique says he’s proud to have won trophies with Spain, but wants to focus solely on Barcelona.
Leganes have signed winger Jose Arnaiz from Barcelona for an initial €5 million and sealed a loan deal for Real Madrid playmaker Oscar Rodriguez.
Arnaiz, 23, joined Barca from Real Valladolid for €3.4 million last summer, scoring six goals in 20 games for Barca B and three in four Copa del Rey appearances.
Oscar, 20, came through the youth ranks at the Bernabeu and contributed six goals and five assists for Madrid’s Castilla youth side last term.
The two Spain underage internationals now get a chance to impress at Primera Level under new Leganes coach Mauricio Pellegrino, with the Madrid side looking to consolidate in the top flight after finishing 17th last season, their first in the top division.

Arnaiz has signed a five-year contract, with Barcelona reportedly retaining 50 percent of his rights and also including a buy-back clause in the terms.
Oscar, who signed a contract at the Bernabeu until 2023 last month, joins on a one-season loan with no option for a permanent move agreed.
Both players are represented by agent Rene Ramos, a brother of Madrid and Spain captain Sergio.
